Returns Due to Defect or Damage
We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.
Full payment must be made for all goods before delivery or collection can be made.
Items that are available to order must be paid in full by any of the methods highlighted on our website at the time of order; if payment is not made we will be forced to cancel your order.
You will be charged the correct price for buying goods and services from our website at the date you place your order. We do our best to ensure that prices are correctly shown but very occasionally an error may occur. If this should happen we will amend the price and ask you to confirm whether you still wish to purchase the goods at the correct price.
The technical steps required to create the contract between you and us are as follows:
You place the order for your products on the Website by pressing the confirm button at the end of the checkout process. You will be guided through the process of placinng an order by a series of simple instructions on the Website.
We will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Wallpaperking.
Acceptance of the order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place by a confirmation e-mail, following allocation of goods unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
The product you ordered being unavailable from stock.
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
The identification of a pricing or product description error.

Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description which sets out additional Specific Conditions related to that Product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates and times.
Wallpaperking have made every effort to prepare and check the content of this website to ensure all information is accurate, particularly with regards to prices quoted, stock availability and product description. Orders will only be accepted if no material discrepancy exists in respect of details, prices and descriptions quoted. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon dispatch of the products ordered. All sizes and measurements are approximate; however we do make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible.
Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including Product Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. We cannot confirm the price of a Product until your order is accepted.
Online payments at wallpaperking.co.uk are made through SagePay. After confirming your purchase and contact details you will be asked to enter your payment details on the Sage Pay secure payment servers.
As a payment service provider (PSP), thousands of businesses outsource their transaction security to Sagepay. It is our top priority to ensure that your customers’ transaction data is kept secure at all times.
All transaction information passed between Wallpaperking and Sage Pay’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to Wallpaperking from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
Once on Sagepay's systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data we hold is extremely secure and we are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.
Sage Pay’s systems are scanned quarterly by Trustwave which are an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for the payment card brands.
Sage pay is also audited annually under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and is a fully approved Level 1 payment services provider, which is the highest level of compliance. We are also active members of the PCI Security Standards Council (SSC) that defines card industry global regulation.
Sage Pay has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.
Sage Pay is controlled by Iris Scanners, which are the latest and most precise biometric security devices available for identification. As used by; chemical plants, airports, police stations, prisons and other facilities where security is paramount. No one can enter or leave the building without a valid security pass.
All employees at Sage Pay are Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked prior to employment and no unauthorized individual has access to or is able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Our systems only allow access to our most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). All transaction information and customer card information is secure even from our own employees.
Sage Pay operates on twin data centres to ensure optimal system security and up-time and has a full disaster recovery and business continuation policy.
Data storage on SagePay systems, and the communication between SagePay and the worldwide banking networks, is regularly audited by the banking authorities to ensure a secure transaction environment. SagePay also ensure that they stay up-to-date with the latest versions of any third-party code they use, and continually review their own proprietary code.

On Order means your order has been processed and we are waiting for the goods to be made ready for dispatch. The dispatch date supplied is that date when the goods are expected to be dispatched from our warehouse. Delivery is typically within 5-7 days of dispatch.
In Stock and Ready to go means your order has been processed and is waiting to be dispatched.
Dispatched means your order has left our warehouse. See delivery details for information on due dates and lead times.
Depending on our chosen carrier, you may receive a separate email from us that will detail how to track your order when it has left the warehouse.
Cancelled means your order has been cancelled either by you or us.
If you find that your order has only been partially delivered, this may be because other items were not ready for dispatch i.e. products are on order. However, if your order is obviously incomplete, over-delivered or damaged, or if you wish to change or cancel your order, please email our Customer Care team at contact@wallpaperking.co.uk.

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your wallpaperking product and wish to return it you may do so at your cost. You have up until the end of seven working days after receipt of your order delivery to inform us if you wish to return your order and we will be happy to refund or exchange the product provided it is in fully resalable condition, undamaged and in the original packaging. *
If we find that the product has not been returned to us in a fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 25% of the original selling price from the refund amount. Refunds can only be made to the original card of purchase.
In addition, for up to 28 days after purchase goods may be returned provided they are in the same condition as stated above together with the sales invoice for a refund subject to a 25% re-stocking charge. However, if a product has been made individually to your specification then these rights to return do not apply, unless the product is faulty.*
We do not accept returns on wallpaper/border samples.
For details on returning an order please contact us by email at contact@wallpaperking.co.uk. Please state your sales invoice number, date of receipt, the reason for returning the product and whether you would like a refund or a replacement product. You will be issued with a Product Returns information together with a Returns Reference Number.
The liability of Wallpaperking will not exceed the value of the Products supplied. In particular, loss of profits and consequential, financial and other such losses are excluded.
Returns Due to Defect or Damage
All goods are thoroughly checked before dispatch to ensure they meet our high quality standards and are fit for purpose. However please check all products on receipt for colour, design, quality or imperfections. It is essential that such checks are carried out before cutting or hanging the rolls, as no claims will be accepted after hanging or cutting of the product. No refunds will be issued for any labour spent or incurred in hanging these wallpapers.
Goods must be inspected and checked before cutting. No claims can be entertained or exchanges made if the material has been cut. If the goods are received damaged, then they should be signed for as such on the delivery note and we must be advised in writing to contact@wallpaperking.co.uk within 3 working days.
You should check all wallpaper products for faults before and during hanging. If the product is defective in any way or has a fault, a full replacement or refund will be made at no charge.
Returns due as a result of the product having been received in a damaged or defective condition will require us to examine the products prior to agreeing to refund any monies. We will do so within a reasonable time period usually 14 days and will inform you of our decision.
Please note: We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange the product once it is received by us.
All authorised refunds will be paid within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods and by the method used to pay the goods.
*None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, or not as described.
Products we are unable to refund or exchange
We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on personalised, made-to measure/order unless they are faulty.
Delivery charges
Wallpaperking will refund your original delivery charge only when a product is incorrect, damaged or faulty. We do not charge for returns of faulty or damaged products but we do charge for delivery and return of unwanted purchases.*
Damages
In the event that goods received by you are either faulty or damaged, you should contact us within seven days from the date on which you have accepted delivery of the goods. You have the right, in the event of the goods being either faulty or damaged, to have the goods returned to us provided that you have notified us of the defect or damage within a reasonable period of time after delivery and provided that the damage or defect has not happened following the date of delivery to you.
Order Change or Cancellation
All customers have seven working days to cancel their order following the delivery of the goods. If you wish to change or cancel an order this can be done by either contacting our Customer Care team in writing and/or at the following email address customercare@wallpaperking.co.uk. Please quote the order number and date the order was placed.
For products that have already been delivered or returns for any other reason i.e. products are defective, please follow our returns procedure.
Customers must arrange (at their own expense) to return the goods in a saleable condition. The goods will be deemed returned when received by Wallpaperking and we will refund the monies as soon as possible within at least 14 working days.
Cancellation of made-to-order products
Should you wish to cancel a made-to-order product for any reason you must do so within 24 hours of your purchase; after the 24 hour cancellation period has elapsed any refund is at the discretion of wallpaperking. As it is unlikely that the goods can be sold on at full value it is typical that we will charge a cancellation fee of 25% of the full selling price. In respect of these products our usual refund policy does not apply and products cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.*

Delivery of Goods
The responsibility for, and ownership of, the goods passes to the customer when the goods have been delivered.
Any delivery dates, or stock arrival dates, whether requested or quoted are only estimates. We will make every effort to deliver on those dates. We will make every effort to carry out our deliveries at the dates and times agreed. If for any reason, delivery is delayed, Wallpaperking is not liable for any consequential loss. We will of course make every effort to keep you informed of any delays.
Products may be dispatched separately depending on the make up of the order and therefore may arrive separately.
On receipt of delivered goods, you must ensure that the goods are in a satisfactory condition, and any dissatisfaction with the goods or delivery team must be reported immediately via phone or email. If the goods are received damaged, then they should be signed for as such on the delivery note and we must be advised in writing to contact@wallpaperking.co.uk within 3 working days.
Any deliveries that fail due to error on your part are refunded at wallpaperking's discretion. Please ensure you have made all the necessary arrangements to accept delivery on the agreed date.
Delivery Times
Orders to all destinations on the UK mainland will normally be delivered within 5 - 7 working days, unless otherwise stated, from receipt of order. Orders to other destinations may take slightly longer and will be dependent on postcode. Delivery details on sample orders are set out under the Sampling Service section.
We cannot guarantee delivery within our usual timescales to a small number of remote rural areas. On rare occasions, some items may be delivered outside the published time periods.
Receipt of Delivery
All goods are thoroughly checked before dispatch to ensure they meet our high quality standards and are fit for purpose. However please check all products for colour, design, quality or imperfections. It is essential that such checks must carried out before cutting or hanging the rolls, as no claims will be accepted after hanging or cutting of the product. No refunds will be issued for any labour spent or incurred in hanging these wallpapers.
Should your delivery arrive in a less than satisfactory condition, i.e the box has been damaged in transit, please note this on the paperwork when signing for the delivery
If any Products are out of stock you will be notified at the earliest opportunity. Delivery will normally be by post or courier. All Products must be paid for prior to delivery. If there is any short delivery or damage to goods in transit, this should be notified to wallpaperking by you with full particulars within three working days of delivery. We cannot be financially liable for delay in delivering the products, however arising.
Delivery Costs
Our standard carriage charge to UK mainland addresses, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland is:
Delivery will normally be within 5-7 working days, unless otherwise stated, from order to mainland UK and Ireland, Monday to Saturday 9am-6pm, excluding public holidays (Monday to Friday in remote areas). For other destinations delivery will normally be between five and ten working days.
Delivery Cost Refunds
We'll refund the purchaser any delivery charge paid when a product is faulty or damaged. Furthermore, should you buy a product online and you change your mind about it, providing you notify us in writing within 7 working days of receiving it, we’ll refund the purchase price and any delivery charge you may have paid. If 7 days have elapsed we’ll refund the purchase price, but not delivery charges. *
Promotional Codes & Discounts
Coupons, discounts and promotional discount codes offered by Wallpaperking are valid only for use as part of a purchase made via shopwallpaperking.co.uk, unless otherwise stated. Such promotional discounts are not valid for use for telephone orders.
Any offer available to new or existing registrants cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount. This includes products discounted during promotional periods or otherwise.
Intellectual property and right to use
You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the Website shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us or our licensors.
You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within the Website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may (if necessary to make a Purchase) download such material and content onto only one computer hard drive for such purpose. Jurisdiction and General Matters
All matters concerning and incidental to any offer or agreement for the purchase and sale of goods from our website shall be in English and construed and governed according to the Law of Northern Ireland and the courts of Northern Ireland shall have jurisdiction in all such matters.
